Children and families can visit our free pop-up bookstores and self-serve bookshelves as often as they like.
Each person (adults and children) can take home one book per visit.
We have a large variety of books in English and French, fiction, non-fiction and everything in between. Best of all – these books are yours to keep!
Children registered in the after-school program can visit us every Tuesday from 4:15 pm to 5:15 pm.
Visit our free bookstore at the Overbrook Community Centre every Saturday from 1:15 pm to 3:15 pm, and every second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
You can find a self-serve bookshelf in the lobby of Heartwood House during Heartwood House business hours.
Patients and clients of the Vanier Social Pediatric Hub (a program offered by the Vanier Community Services Centre) can take a book home for free at every visit through their social prescribing program.
