Twice Upon a Time is a registered non-profit organization with charitable status from the Canada Revenue Agency. Our charitable tax number is 803095777RR0001.
Twice Upon a Time is entirely run by volunteers. Funds donated to Twice Upon a Time help us purchase books where there are gaps in the donations we receive and to cover program and operating costs. By making a financial donation to us, you can help put more books into the hands and homes of kids in Ottawa.
When you make a donation, you have the choice to direct your funds to one of four areas of need: Kids Today, Plaisir de lire!, ReconciliAction, or where most needed.
An official charitable tax receipt will be issued immediately by email.
Donate by email money transfer:
E-transfers should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Include name, address, instructions for any dedication of funds, plus any necessary transfer information. A charitable receipt will be issued for donations of $15 or more. If making a donation on behalf of a group, the name, mailing address, email address, and amount contributed (of $15 or more) of each contributor must be provided in order for a charitable receipt to be issued.
A donation of securities or mutual funds is the most efficient way to give charitably. Since capital gains taxes do not apply, Twice Upon a Time receives the full fair market value when the security is sold.
