Twice Upon a Time is a registered non-profit organization with charitable status from the Canada Revenue Agency. Our charitable tax number is 803095777RR0001.
Twice Upon a Time is entirely run by volunteers. Funds donated to Twice Upon a Time help us purchase books where there are gaps in the donations we receive and to cover program and operating costs. By making a financial donation to us, you can help put more books into the hands and homes of kids in Ottawa.
When you make a donation, you have the choice to direct your funds to one of four areas of need: Kids Today, Plaisir de lire!, ReconciliAction, or where most needed.
Donate online:
An official charitable tax receipt will be issued immediately by email.
Donate by email money transfer:
E-transfers should be sent to info@twiceuponatime.ca. Include name, address, instructions for any dedication of funds, plus any necessary transfer information. A charitable receipt will be issued for donations of $15 or more. If making a donation on behalf of a group, the name, mailing address, email address, and amount contributed (of $15 or more) of each contributor must be provided in order for a charitable receipt to be issued.
Donate securities:
A donation of securities or mutual funds is the most efficient way to give charitably. Since capital gains taxes do not apply, Twice Upon a Time receives the full fair market value when the security is sold.
With the help of our partners at Canada Helps, you can donate securities or mutual funds in three easy steps:
